Hi, I’m Andy, a software engineer in the Bay Area, husband to Nana, and proud father of three. As Technical Director at Upperquad in SF, I helped build creative interactive experiences for clients like Google, Facebook, Patagonia, Stanford and YouTube. At Meta, I spent 6 years in Integrity, building systems to improve content moderation and platform safety. And today I’m building tools for emotional regulation and wellness at Here Within.

I think we undervalue creativity, underestimate the economic value of positive user experiences, and have a long journey ahead before frontier technology can fulfill its real potential to benefit humanity.
